Anathema – Devlog 3

The first completed enemy now entered the arena! This enemy is completely made from scratch by me to test if the entire workflow works as intended.

The model is made in Blender and then exported in to Adobe Mixamo to assign animations. It is then imported back into Blender to render the animations down into frames.

The frames are then downscaled using an open source tool called Converseen to batch convert all frames. The individual sprites are then opened in Asesprite as sequence to clean up if needed and then export them as sprite sheet. From there its ready for Unreal.

Next up is to improve and polish its projectiles and behavior slightly.
